TomKat Go Apartment Hunting in NYC

The paint is barely dry on their new L.A. mansion, but Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are hunting for an apartment in New York City. As Katie gears up to take Broadway by storm with her role in the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons this fall, the actress and her superstar spouse want their own Big Apple digs.

They reportedly have their eye on a beautifully furnished, multilevel, six-bedroom apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side, but are continuing to look in the $60,000-a-month range. "Tom's owned a small bachelor apartment in Manhattan for years, but it is not suitable for a family with a nanny and security," a friend of the actress tells OK!.

While Katie, 29, stays put in NYC for the play, Tom, 45, will travel back and forth to L.A. during the 16-week run, often taking 2-year-old Suri with him. "He can't stay full time in NYC because he has older kids, Connor and Bella, to tend to, and all his production company business," a source tells OK!. "He's very excited for Katie and is almost as excited about opening night as she is."

As Tom and Katie prepare for her new role and life in the perfect NYC pad, it'll be a case of Holmes sweet Holmes!

Helmed by vocalizer Spider (aka Michael Cummings, as well know as Spider One or MC Spider, the younger brother of Rob Zombie), the Boston-based subway electro-metal ring Powerman 5000 earned a democratic cult following along the East Coast with the release of their 1994 indie debut EP, Genuine Force, and 1995's LP The Blood Splat Rating System, the latter of which appeared on Conscience Records. Two eld later, the isthmus touched to Dreamworks (and resettled to Los Angeles), where they released a revamped version of their debut as Mega!! Kung Fu Radio.


Touring with the likes of Marilyn Manson and Korn, as well as a erolia minutilla on Ozzfest, expanded their fan basis and lED up to Powerman 5000's 1997 scientific discipline fiction-esque followup, Tonight the Stars Revolt! During shows and promos for the record album, the stripe was often plant card-playing spacesuits and other sci-fi gear. The record went atomic number 78, helped in contribution by the success of singles "When Worlds Collide" and "Nobody's Real" on MTV. The halted release of a since aborted record album entitled Anyone for Doomsday? signaled the leaving of longtime bassist Dorian Heartsong (aka Dorian 27) and drummer Al Pahanish (aka Al 3) in early November of 2001. A year later, drummer Adrian Ost (aka Ad7) was added to the grouping; bassist Siggy Sjursen united 40 auditions later ahead 2002 came to a close.


Powerman 5000, including Spider and longtime guitarists Adam Williams (aka Adam 12) and Mike Tempesta (aka M.33), was and then indorse in wide effect. Transform, their fourth album, pronounced the band's new more punk-inspired, less industrial wakeless and new lineup when it was released in spring 2003. It debuted at number 25 on the Billboard charts and produced a hit in the song "Free," though Dreamworks dissolved in the middle of the album's forwarding. A rarities ingathering appeared in 2004 on Spider's own Megatronic pronounce; more than lineup changes would come ahead the eventual liberation of the band's fifth uncut. Williams and Tempesta exited to be replaced on guitar by Johnny Heatley and ex-Alien Ant Farm's Terry Corso. Powerman 5000 inked a deal with DRT Entertainment in springtime 2006, and Destruct What You Enjoy surfaced that August. Subsequent circuit dates through fall were played.

Miss Universe Menem Divorced

Former Miss Universe CECILIA BOLOCCO and ex Argentinean President CARLOS MENEM have divorced.

The Chilean TV personality went public with the news at her recent 43rd birthday party.

She told newspaper El Mercurio, "We've already done all the talking, it's final.

"This is the year to start enjoying life and (appreciating) how wonderful it is to have a healthy son."

The couple met and fell in love when Bolocco interviewed the politician in 1999. They have a five-year-old son, called Maximo.

'The OC' headliner Mischa Barton is to toy the leading function in a new thriller called 'Homecoming'.
Variety says the celluloid tells the story of a young man and his girlfriend wHO return to his hometown to see his family.
Simply they discover that his former high school steady (Barton) has developed an unhealthy obsession near him.
The celluloid will be helmed by former 'Dawson's Creek' director Morgan J Freewoman.
Barton's newly film, the Richard Attenborough-directed 'Closing the Ring', opens in Irish whiskey cinemas on Friday 28 Dec.

Reality television system star Kerry Katona has presumption birth to her fourth kid, a child boy.
The child, wHO will be named Maxwell Croft, was max Born at 5.42pm today, quint weeks early.
Infant J. C. Maxwell, named after Katona's publicist Liquid ecstasy Clifford, reportedly weighed 5lbs 4oz.
A representative for Katona said: "Mama and baby ar doing well and the family ar very excited some their latest plus."
"Kerry would like to thank wholly the staff at the Macclesfield Dominion General hospital for the fantastic care she received."
Speaking around the baby, the interpreter said: "He's absolutely finely, he's beautiful."
Katona's married man Mark Croft was at the infirmary with her for the nascence.
The telly star has been in infirmary since Midweek when her waters broke.
Doctors initially gave her medication to try to stop contractions just today a decision was taken to stimulate lying-in.
Katona already has three daughters, a one-year-old daughter Heidi with husband Deutsche Mark Croft and 2 older children - Mollie, six-spot, and Lilly Sue, five - from her married couple to Brian McFadden.
